Total #NikeFuel lot at #SXSW. Love this video-wall!
One of my coworkers wrote this and sent it out to the team at Invodo today – had to share:
Its with a heavy heart I bring you the true-life story of Leap Day. You probably never thought it before, but Leap Day is a sad little day. Unlike other special days, this feeble Emo does not even consider itself a real holiday. Nobody has customary leap day food, decorations or traditions. Not even European government workers get the day off. The forgettable 24-hour period is mostly tossed aside… only used when its convenient like some type of “sure-thing” booty call you’ll hate yourself for in the morning. It thinks of itself as that extra bit of brisket fat the Rudy’s cutter adds to make it weigh exactly .5 lbs or a few old post-it notes balancing the legs a cheap rickety table. It certainly never felt accepted or loved when February simply sighed and said “fine, I’ll take him.” This poor insignificant calendar shim only there to account for some meaningless cosmic rounding error deserves more in life. It does not ask for much. All Leap day ever wanted was to be like all the other days.
Never again will I neglect poor little Leap Day…
