Tuesdays are my toughest day for focus. I try to batch as many weekly meetings as I can on Tuesdays (currently 4 team calls & 3 1:1s).
The most important thing for me to maintain high performance on a day with 7 hours of meetings is focusing on my ENERGY levels (not time blocks).
Success in today's calls started yesterday.
And although it was way later than I generally care to exercise (or even be out of bed, hah), getting a workout in on Monday night was actually a key component of making Tuesday successful.
Manage your ENERGY, not your time. Regular exercise is just one of the many simple ways to do that.
And if you're too busy for a full workout today, then go for a 30+ minute walk. It's spring afterall!
